Job Description:  RADA is seeking an experienced and analytical Finance Director with strong numerical skills to drive our organization's financial operations and improve financial performance.  Duties for the Finance Director will include developing a department function (currently outsourcing based) in a rapidly growing environment, accurate forecasting, developing corporate reporting statements, overseeing internal controls, setting financial targets, monitoring expenditure and project performance, and managing tax compliance. Vast experience in production environments and government business-oriented organizations. Skills in sound financial planning coupled with the ability to direct financial assets will assist the organization in implementing effective financial strategies, managing debt, improving revenue, maintaining a healthy financial position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure
  • Coordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to Executive Management, Corporate office and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required)
  • Preparing quarterly and yearly Operations and Capex budgets
  • Reporting quarterly financial statements to the Group CFO as well as periodical cash flow reports
  • Experience in cooperation, on review and audit work, with the “big four” accounting firms in the US
  • Experience in working with local and national banks and financial institutions as well as familiarities with local incentive plans
  • Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties
  • Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance
  • Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting, employee relations (hiring/terminating policies) and other corporate policies.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent (US) GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining DCAA compliant contract accounting practices

Experience:   A strong candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financial Management. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance in companies provide goods or services to the US Government.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a US citizen capable of attaining a US Security Clearance. Candidates already in possession of a clearance are preferred.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DCAA, and DCMA policies and requirements
