We are currently looking for a highly motivated and detailed oriented Program Manager for our Germantown, MD office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This position will lead the financial and scheduling aspects of R&D and/or production contracts ensuring deliverable's are on-time and within budget, and that the scope of the program is accomplished.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Design and execute the program management process to adhere to standards and regulations within the industry.
  • Maintain and foster relationships with company customers.
  • Organize and lead team efforts across production, engineering, contracts and other key program functions related to a customer program/order.
  • Prepare, manage, and report on all aspects of the program to include subcontractor/vendor status, and risk management.
  • Deliver updates on critical path analysis, variance analysis, and other key program metrics.
  • Manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate and sometimes lead proposal efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned to assist the overall success of the company.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in engineering production, project or program management.
  • General understanding of radar theory and related sensor technologies.
  • Experience in government contracting.
  • Business Development experience.
  • Proficient in government contracting and proposal writing.
  • Ability to manage a team.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint.
  • Demonstrate strong program finance reporting skills.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DCAA, and DCMA policies and requirements.
  • Government certifications in contracts, program/project management, or accounting.
  • Be physically capable of lifting to 50lbs alone, or 100lbs in a 2-person lift.
  • Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team.
